We strive to make our performance as accessible as possible for all audience members, of all ages and abilities. With questions, to reserve accessibility services or materials, or to ask for additional accommodations, contact Toby at twmacnutt@gmail.com.
Venue
Enter the Void premiers at Spotlight Vermont, 50 San Remo Dr, South Burlington, VT (Google Maps link). There is parking available, including some van-accessible spaces. Entry to the building and access to the theater are step-free. There are two single-occupancy, all-gender, accessible restrooms.
At the Performance
The show takes place in Spotlight's black box theater. Access is step-free and performance is on a single flat level. Seating is flexible and optional. The lighting level will be very low; staff will be on-hand to assist with navigation as needed. If you'd like to further dampen your sensory experience, disposable earplugs will be available.
Certain showings (1pm on Saturday, 5pm on Sunday) are available as access-enhanced showings. These showings feature a higher light level and will have staff on-hand to offer verbal description and touch tour elements to whoever may desire them.
If you would like verbal description services, but wish to attend a low-light showing, please contact Toby (twmacnutt@gmail.com) at least one week in advance.
Kids & Families
Children of all ages are welcome to any showing. Kids 8 and under are free (no ticket required). Little ones who are nervous about the dark may appreciate an access-enhanced showing given the higher light levels.
Visitor's Guide zine and program materials
The installation features a guidebook, in the form of a poetry chapbook and program. Physical booklets are available to each ticket holder, and digital booklets will be available to ticket holders (at no additional charge) or to anyone else anywhere in the world (pay-what-you-can).
Physical booklets are also available in large print format or Braille. If someone in your party will require one of these formats, please indicate it when booking your tickets. We will do our best to honor all requests, but request they are made with at least one week's notice so that we can ensure we have enough copies.
Digital booklets will be available in PDF (formatted to match the printed booklet), and epub/mobi (less restrictive, flexible formatting).
